Help Please - Can't get my network to work

Hi folks

I could do with some help here - I'm quite ignorant about wireless networks, and am having trouble.

I have a Dell Inspiron which has a Dell wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-PCI C card fitted, but I cannot get this to work with my Belkin ADSL Modem wireless G router. If I use a wireless G USB network adapter however, I can get a connection no problem.

When I try to connect via the card, I go to the view wireless network connection window, I get the message 'windows cannot configure this connection'.

If I go to 'repair the network connection' I am getting the message that 'windows could not finish repairing because it could not renew the IP address.

I'm not sure what all of this means - is the PCI card faulty or am I not doing things correctly?

Any help would be most useful.

Look in the systray for the Dell wireless utility - right click on it and look for "allow Windows to configure wireless" or something like that. By default, the Dell utility has control and it has to be released. The other option is to use the Dell utility to connect with.
