Network and viruses?

Hey everyone,

I'm not too knowledgeable on networks so hopefully someone can clarify my question.

In my household we have three computers on a router. Currently, one of them has a virus. So my question is, is it possible for the virus to affect the other 2 unaffected computers?

We only share a router, we do not share printers or anything.

Thanks.

It is possible sure, but not all viruses are programmed to attack more then the host PC.
