Ping Problem !

Hi all ...

my ping is messed up ! it reaches about 1000 to 2000 .. while the net speed is stable and I can browse and download very normally .. except the ping for playing games online ..

so , I logged on the router and ran Diagnostics to see whats wrong .. I had one FAIL !

OAM Segment Test ATM OAM segment ping FAIL

I dont know what is that mean ... and dont know how to fix it ... and recommendations ? tips ?

I have 256Kbps DSL Connection with Siemens 6520 Router .. I basically use the Wireless of it and Ethernet .. all security software disabled .. but still having the ping problem and that failure ..

thanks for advancing ..
