Dell Bluetooth Module 370
Alright, first a bit of backstory. I ordered a Dell Studio 1737 notebook right before Thanksgiving (along with the promotional $99 Mini 9, which I upgraded to a 32gb SSD and 1gb ram and am currently using :-). The whole thing was messed up from the beginning... They had three separate orders, one for the Mini 9, one for the Studio 1737, and one for the Blueotooth Module (which was supposed to be installed in the Studio. Well, I complained, and they insisted it was just a glitch on the online order status. A few days later I get the Mini 9, very satisfied. The next day, I get a bluetooth module in the mail. I go to check the order status, and my 1737's order status is "Changed" but, apparently it's just cancelled. No notification given to me or anything. I request a return on the bluetooth module and basically decide to take my business elsewhere (the Mini 9 promotion was my only interest anyway.) Anyway, they agree to credit me back the money and say I don't have to return the module. Sounds good.
Now, this bluetooth module is miniPCIe, which I hadn't heard of before. Is that standard for internal bluetooth cards? What I'm wondering is, can I install it on anything else? I may sell it, but I'd like to know what it can be used on before I sell it to anyone. Thanks for any help :-) |
