Home Network Connection Problem

I have a Toshiba Tecra M2V-S330 running Windows XP Professional Version 2002/Service Pack 2.

Intel Pentium 1500 MHZ
598 MHz, 496 MB RAM

I use a Belkin Model #FSD7230-4 router on a recently secured home network.

Other laptops have successively signed on to the secured network as had the subject laptop.

Last weekend, without apparent cause, the subject laptop crashed to the dreaded blue screen within 1-10 seconds of throwing the wireless network switch on the laptop. This contiues.

Although this is a company computer, I am not awareof any new programs that were added that might have caused it to noo longer connect/not crash.

The computer can connect on other wireless networks when out of range of the home network. We have removed alll references to previous networks from the computer but the home network is listed even if the crash is immediate.

Any help is appreciated as the IT people at work have no further ideas.

When in Windows - control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery - uncheck restart on error.

Smile Thanks--Problem Resolved

Thanks for the suggestions--

Here is the resolution-- Logs of the crash indicated the name of another secured (WPA) network, probably one of the neighbors.

It turns out that the driver for the wireless card was 2004 version. The current driver was downloaded toady in the office and, as I write this, the laptop is online and stable.
