Onboard LAN

Hello,

Just finished building a new PC and everything works except I cannot connect to the internet (broadband cable) even though I ran the "New connection" option in win xp pro. I also checked in the BIOS utility (Its a Gigabyte mobo) to make sure the onboard LAN was enabled and it is.

I'm thinking I may need to install drivers for the onboard LAN. Is this correct?

thanks,

CFII

Yes, install the drivers off the CD that came with the motherboard, or use a different computer and download them to a usb flash drive and install off that to your computer.
