dial in network..

My boss wants to set one of his computers up so he can dial in to it from home and be able to work on spreadsheets, etc. At the same time, he wants the other computer in the office to be networked for internet sharing. How do I do this?

What kind of Internet connection does he have at the office? Dial up? DSL, ISDN?
Cable?

Dialup, but he wouldn't need to connect to the internet for another computer to dial directly to him. Gateway says if his home computer can dial the phone number.
