Slaving a HDD problem
I bought a kit to slave a HDD. After reading the sticky about how to, I did exactly what it said, however after hooking it up, it did its 'found new hardware' thing, then I hooked the HDD to it, but never saw it. I can hear the drive running and clicking (it has a power supply for the drive). I then went to my other computer, and it did exactly the same thing. However, when i hooked the Drive as a second drive in either of the computers, it see's it just fine, and I can access it. I tried jumpering as slave, master, and CS, with no results. Am I doing something wrong?

Connect the hard drive to the adapter and apply power. Start the computer, and when it's in Windows, connect the USB cable. If it doesn't work, the adapter is defective.
