3com Network Storage Server
I am setting up a network for a non-profit organization. Six users, peer
to peer, W95, and W98 machines. I read 3com's web page about their Network Storage boxes. Just plug them into the hub with an RJ45 Cat 5 cable, and configure them over the network with a web browser. Sounds interesting. Lifetime warrenty. Have any of you guys used one of these? If so, what has your experience been with it? Thanks, Dwight Here's the link: http://www.3com.com/products/en_US/d...sku=3C19500-US |

Never used a 3Com, but I know people that use Quantum Snap servers and are very happy with them.

Haven't used em, but consider this: you can build a box with expandability that can do the same function (network attached storage) for the same price. And probably get more space. Also: If you go this route, you can add a tape backup for the storage without a lot of hassle.
