That IP belongs to FLAG Telecom in Egypt. Might this be one of your ISP's routers?

sorry i stopped reading so i didnt see the reply ...
my isp is this : http://www.linkdsl.com/LinkDSL_Code/Pages/Default.aspx i know there is 3 flag sea cables here but there isnt a flag telecom isp maybe link belong to them or have contract with them .. i had bad isp before and good ones but i never had this zic zac thing and its driving me mad and am about to leave them . here is some tests i made today morning when the line was perfect in speed and in ping on that same bf2 server u see above in check republic (my dsl speed is 1024/256 mb) ![]() you see ping is 100 ms not near 200 ms when that extra ip showed ping test : Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp. Could this be your ISP, or the upstream supplier, doing some load shifting? I've never had to worry about it but I know that network monitoring units have the capability of rerouting stuff on the fly in order to keep the system running.
