Basic business switch
I have an SMC EZ1024DT 24 port switch that has a few bad ports. I'm about maxed out on connections and need those so have been thinking about a new switch.
Most hardware is 100mbps but I'll be building a couple of PCs this year with gigabit NICs. I don't need a smart, or managed, or whatever they're called, switch. I could stand a few more ports but 48 seems way more than my layout will need. Does anyone have a good suggestion in the $200 to 250 range? I'd go outside that range if I can't get a few year's problem free quality out of it. Only narrowed down to: NETGEAR JGS524 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Switch - Retail Item#:N82E16833122058 Charlie |

Netgear makes decent switches. I just don't like their routers.
