Limited Or No Connectivity Errors in Windows
I seem to get this error a lot, but I only get it on one PC. I have another desktop and several laptops and they never get this error. Would there be a reason why one of the desktops get this error. I am using the same type of router and wireless card.
I am using comcast internet and I used to have this problem as well when I had uverse. But as I stated it is always just this computer for some reason. Thanks. |

Update the wireless adapter drivers. Make sure the security/encryption matches exactly.

Internet Connection
I have one of my pcs that does not like to connect to the network. All my other pcs and laptops work with no problems. Is there maybe something else that I need to do to get my one desktop to connect all the time. All security and everything is setup the same. I never have this problem with any other pc or laptop in the house and I have about 3 laptops and 2 desktops. The 4 out of 5 connect with no problems.

ok, lets go back a few steps here.
1) What hardware are you running on the PC in question? 2) How are you connecting to the router? 3) Like in the other thread, have you scanned for malware and viruses (malwarebytes, spybot, and AVG for instance) 4) Check the event viewer for errors (start > run > eventvwr.msc)

2. I am connected by a wireless connection. Not sure if this is what you are asking 3. Yes Clean 4. Just did and had a lot of application errors On another note, I installed an antenna different than the one that came with the card. I have been doing it for a few days now and no problems. Hopefully it was just a signal issue. |

1) what *hardware*, not software. Or, if it's a prebuilt rig, the make and model.
4) Look under "system". Networking errors usually appear there. |

It looks like Force Flow did respond, and you didn't reply back with what he asked for.
He asked for the hardware of the computer in question. He also asked about the errors in event viewer under system.

If you don't reply back with details, we can't properly diagnose the problem.

I assigned a static IP as it seemed to be having IP problems. Since I have done that the problem seems to have been fixed. So close this thread as well. |
