Shockwave vulnerability

Dunno if anyone else has heard this; I just read it tonight. According to this story, it looks like Adobe Shockwave needs updating again, due to a vulnerability that was found. Apparently if you're running version 11.5.0.596 or earlier, you need the newest version with the fix. Story is here:

Somehow, another vulnerability in another free adobe product doesn't surprise me.

True. I was thinking along those lines when I read that story myself.....kinda like "How come Flash and Shockwave didn't have problems until Adobe took them over?". About that same time that their own PDF reader started having vulnerabilities too, wasn't it? I mean, I know I didn't used to ever have to update the PDF reader except for the reason of getting the newer version. Then it was suddenly "Update again! There's another vulnerability!!!". That's why I eventually said screw it and went to using Foxit.

Yeah, I don't even install Adobe Reader anymore. Haven't had any problems with foxit.
