Router
I use a wireless router (D-Link DIR-300) and a Surfboard cable modem
At least once a week but sometimes 2-3 times a day, the Internet dies. There is no Internet connection from the desktop (connected via cable) or any wireless devices. To get it back I need to pull out the power of the router for around 30 seconds. It then starts working again. Does anyone know why this happens and how to keep the connection constant? Thanks |

When was the last time you recycled the power on the modem? Have you tried updating the router firmware?

Thanks. When I pull out the power from the router I always pull out the power from the modem as well. The router is running the latest firmware.

Check with your ISP. When I was living at home our internet would drop out all the time.
