Unhappy transfer

can i transfer from old to new with ethernet wire

Are you maybe asking about transfering file from an old computer to a new computer?

got old e-machine & just built new computer from scratch & went to put every thing from the old on the new

Yes you can, but I prefer to remove the old hard drive and use a USB adapter.

You can transfer your data files, but all software has to be reinstalled.

not sure what im doing never done anything like this before computer has always been setup & ready to run i guess im better with hardware than software

do i take old drives out of old and put them in 2 new
