phoneline router

i'm looking at this for my phoneline network. The network runs at 1MBps (ugh) and the router runs at 10mpbs. Will this create any problems, or will the router just run at 1mbps?

Your network will only be as fast as your slowest piece of equipment. kind of like attending a community college computer course

Before you spend the big bucks, take a look at the phoneline stuff here. Atleast it's $8.95 for two cards.
