Netgear WG311v3 64bit drivers

I have this netgear adapter, and it works as intended with Windows XP. So I install Win XP64, and Win7 and I can not for the life of me get this thing to work on either of them. I have been reading people have found work arounds with Win 7.....but shouldnt this card have a driver that works with XP64?

Here are some of problems people are dealing with:

I can understand Windows 7 being new and there is no "signed" drivers yet....but any idea on Win XP64?

Not necessarily. Netgear's support site is deficient, they don't address 64 bit operating systems with that adapter. There are not many wireless adapters at all out there that support XP 64.
