Mouse Button Reversal Virus?
Had a recent encounter with weird activity. The last time unexplainable stuff happened was when CIH was running around.
I cannot pinpoint it, but it switched the mouse buttons around (ie right click was left click and vice versa). It was a simple enough activity to change them back, after learning how to right click to navigate, but I cannot help but think some program told Microsoft to do it. The computer runs behind so many layers of protection that I cannot image something this simple not being shot down, but I cannot find a trace of any malicious programming. Is it possible that Intellipoint decided that today was a good time to change buttons? Or, if such a virus like this exists (as it no doubt does) why would something as simple like Norton detect it? Crazy going slowly am I. More so than usual. Respectfully, Demosthenes |

Last thing I saw that would do this was installing a......err.......illegally modified version of Audiograbber.
