Boom File Transfer

Help, I am having trouble transfering files from one computer to the other on my network . Both machines have the same workgroup name , I can remote acess the computer and the file , but cannot transfer the files to my computer keeps giving me a "error" specific network resource not available. This has just happened recently, I have had no problems with my network in the past 2 years !!I have tried just about everything , running win ME , IE6 ,linksys hub with 10/100 nics, Cat 5 enhanced cable . I have not changed anything on the network recently , I cannot figure this thing out for the life of me, anybody have any Ideas ??? Thanx

If nothing has changed in software, then it must be hardware. Start simple: check cables and connections first. Check hub next. Electrical power fluctuations may have blown something that you didn't see at first. Next, check NICs.
