Windows 7 Networking Issue Please help
I have just bought a fairly powerful netbook, well one that is capable of playing HD files. I currently have a HTPC downstairs and I have setup sharing so that I can access the media folders from the netbook. This all works fine using wireless and I can access the files using the netbook. However I have homeplugs that I would like to use upstairs as these seem to be faster. So using the homeplugs with the wireless turned off on the netbook etc, I can surf the net but I cannot access the media folders from HTPC, but as soon as I turn on wireless I can. I am guessing does that maybe has something to do with settings on my Sagem router? Both computers are running Windows 7. I was wondering if there is anybody that is good with pc's could point me to a guide or something if possible thanks

The homeplugs are being seen as a different network than the wireless - so you have to configure the homeplug network the exact same way as you configured the wireless (public, private, trusted, homegroup, etc.).
