delete a FaceBook account
I have two Face Book accounts. Both use the same e-mail and password. I want to delete one but it looks like it will delete both accounts. Anybody familiar with this and can help me ?

I'm not sure how you can have two with the same email, but there are a couple of things you can try. First, is there is a function to link accounts. I don't have any linked, but maybe you can unlink them first. Go to the arrow dropdown in the right corner, go to General Account settings and see what it says about linked accounts. If they are linked, try editing and see if you can unlink.
EDIT: It appears that linked accounts are for google accounts and the like, so that probably isn't it. At worst, when you delete an account it can be reinstated by signing in again. You might lose your past posts (I am unsure), but your friends should become reactivated by what I have seen by those who have done it. I don't know if being signed in to the one you want to delete and deleting it would delete it and not the other nor if you sign in if they both won't be reactivated. I guess you could try changing the email for the one you want to delete, confirming it, and then deleting that account.

I don't think it is possible to have two Facebook accounts with the same primary email address (address you use to login). How Facebook know which account you are trying to log on as?
You can have more email addresses besides your primary one associated with Facebook but you can't use them to login.

The only thing I could think of was a situation where an account was hacked and another one started (I have seen people do that, but not sure if they used a different email, password or what). Probably the best thing to do is to contact Facebook and ask them to merge them (if they both exist). Without seeing and confirming what you are saying, I am not sure what else to say.

I DO have two accounts with the same e-mail & password. That's the problem. If I delete one,I will delete them both.

So, when you sign in they both come up? I don't understand how, so other than what I said above I am not sure what to say. I do have two friends that have two accounts, but I have no idea how or why (although one forgot the password or something to the first.). Have you tried the suggestions I made above'? (Other than the delete thing or maybe the link thing)? In particular try assigning a different email to one of them. If you need to know how, I can put it here.
