HELP !!! Vista security virus
I was online last night and my system started acting crazy, I then notice the Vista Security pop up, great....I did a restore ( running Vista ) and it all seems ok now, but is it ?? Anyway to tell IF it is really gone...

Scanning with your AV software would be a great idea.... Doing a second scan with Malwarebytes would be good too.

ok ran both, the malaware picked up a bunch of stuff, I deleted and now it seems ok ???

Chances are good you are okay now but you never know with absolute certainty. Some malware likes to remain hidden so they can do their nasty deeds without you knowing so, like turning your computer into a spambot or logging your keystrokes in order to get passwords. If you see more symptoms of malware then scan it again with something different, ideally with MSE or even AVG or other anti-malware software.
