[SOLVED] Ethernet Port not Working on Asus M4A87TD/USB3 motherboard

I think my Ethernet port died. The light also doesnt blink on the Ethernet port. It is like nothing is plugged in.

I shut down my computer and had to update the windows thing (you shut down it says there as an update blalala).

After the update the computer froze on the shut down screen (Where it says windows is shutting down and that little spinning circle also froze.)

So I hard shut down the system by holding the button for 5 seconds.

Today I woke up the morning and the internet wasn't working. (the wireless works)

I tried different Ethernet cables and all that still nothing.

In the device manager the port is recognized and everything looks fine. I even did the system restore (going back in time) and still nothing.

Any help?

The Ethernet light on the motherboard isnt blinking.

EDIT:

Turns out its a hardware/power glitch.

Turn off your computer.
Unplug the power cord from the computer.
Wait around 30 minutes or so.
Plug the power cord back in and turn on the computer and your problem should be solved.
