I know the theoretical limit of coax type 734 is 450 feet.
i have coax type 734 in place that spans 468 feet. will i be able to get away with this? i'm upgrading to a DS3. ![]() thank you in advance, Scott |

If you don't mind the risk of occasional garbled data. In a video, pic, music, etc. a flipped bit or two doesn't matter that much. However, even one flipped bit in a spreadsheet could spell disaster.

Try it but if you are getting unacceptably degraded images, sound or really slow data transfers then you will need a booster.

No, you are boosting a good signal midway that has not degraded by running it through a 450 foot cable.
But as I said, try it first before buying a booster. |
