Question No Outbound Emails w/ Outlook 2010

Hello everyone,

I am having an issue with Outlook 2010.

UPDATE: I am not able to add an email profile, as it will not pass the inbound/outbound test.

Additionals to know:
-About a month ago, Century Link swapped my modem
-I have had Outlook send before
-I have Century Link DSL 12mb down

If anyone can chime in and throw me some ideas, I would appreciate.
(ports, settings, etc)

Thank you in advance,
SM

What email service do you use? Each one typically has their own specific mail client settings.

Centurylink could be blocking the standard SMTP port (25) if you are using a 3rd party mail server. This is common as an anti-spam measure.

I am using Outlook 2010 as my third party email program.

I have ports: 995, 110, 587, 465 and 25 open.

Anything else I can look at?

Thank you!!!

I'm not referring to a 3rd party email program, I'm referring to a 3rd party SERVICE.

I used my admin powers and see that you have a Gmail address - is that what you are trying to use with Outlook or are you trying to use one of the Centurylink family of addresses as in Doc's post?
