Chrome issues with flash. URGENT.

Hi!

I need help with an issue thats been driving me crazy for along time. When I run anything flash related in chrome (YouTube, grooveshark, Pandora) my router shuts off and disconnects for a brief moment. If I don't close chrome, it will keep happening. I have tried everything under the sun to fix this. I've tried clearing flash cache files and chrome cache, cleared cookies, tried disabling flash in chrome, updating network drivers, everything! Can someone help me with this? It will be GREATLY appreciated. It only happens with flash related sites.

I have the latest version of chrome and a belkin n300 router with the latest firmware

It seems to work fine in IE. It happens sporadically however.

I am not a big fan of Chrome, it has always struck me as unstable, try FireFox or Opera and see what happens.
I'll have a read and see if I can find what is causing the problem.

system specs?

1. Have you tested for malware?

2. How many versions of flash are showing up in add/remove programs?

3. Do you have the latest version installed?

4. What OS and is it fully up to date?

5. What OS Service Pack Level?

6. What versions of browsers do you have?

7. Have you tried a different router or a another PC/laptop on the router?

8. Have you tried re-installing the OS?

1. Yes, came back clean with Malwarebytes
2. Just the ActiveX
3. Yes, 11.5
4. Win 7 and yes
5. Win 7 with no service packs
6. Chrome 21
7. Yes works fine with different PC as far as I can tell
8 That isn't going to happen.

How can Win 7 be up to date if it has no service packs?

Chrome is out of date too, current version is 23.

I'm sorry, it is v.23 of Chrome. Windows 7 is up to date. I never installed SP1 and just updated Windows normally.

Download and install SP1, run updates and see if that corrects the issue. It doesn't sound like your Windows is updated. That could be your problem.
