Wireless or wired
I live in an apartment building and I am looking for a keyboard and mouse to use with Linux. Can I use wireless without interference from neighbors or should I just get a wired setup? Recommendations for Logitech.

They work on a different frequency range to network equipment and their range is limited to within a few metres of the USB transmitter, interference will be non existant.

Not exactly. I have had mouse interference in a house with multiple wireless mice. There is a possibility of interference.

In general, wired is more reliable and in many cases faster. I choose wired over wireless when it is feasible.

Not sure about a wireless keyboard, but the best mouse I've ever owned is a Logitech M305.
This little thing gets used at home and on the road. It's got great range and has been rock solid.
