FYI on Emsisoft
Hi, I was cleaning off the FBI Moneypak Ransomware Virus from a friends PC, I slaved his drive to my PC, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and MSE found lots of things. I thought I had got it. Put the drive back in his PC, still got that FBI screen, even in safe mode it came up. I guess it comes in different flavors and I had the advanced one. I ran across a website that recommended Emsisoft, I checked here no one knew much about it. So I gave it a try, installed it on my PC, slaved his drive again ran the scan and it got rid of the Ransomeware. By the way it found a few things on my PC Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and MSE did not. A lot of people said you had to pay for it, not true, it runs just like Malwarebytes, you get the free version (offered in real small letters ha, ha) which just like Malwarebytes let you update it, scan with it and delete the bugs. Have added it to my virus arsenal. Free Emsisoft Anti-Malware Download - Antivirus, Antimalware, Antispyware when you run the downloaded file it will then give you the choice of entering a key code, 30 day free trial, or the free version (look closely).
