Block outgoing application without a firewall?
In XP, is there a way to block an application's outgoing internet connection without using a software firewall (e.g. Windows Firewall, Comodo, ESET, etc.)
I tried the hosts file but the application's outgoing connection is IP and not a URL so it didn't work. I also tried a little software called nonet but it didn't work. Any other ideas? * Just in case you're wondering why I'm refraining from using a third party / stock firewall, I just don't. Nevermind. Found a solution Last edited by JC00; 04-05-2013 at 07:26 AM.
