ASUS RT-N66U Router Broadcasting WEP?
I have an ASUS RT-N66U router with WPA2-Personal security only enabled.
According to inSSIDer my ASUS router (same MAC address) is broadcasting both WEP and WPA2 security. ![]() WEP and WPS are both disabled, yet inSSIDer reports my ASUS router's MAC address broadcasting both WEP and WPA. Latest firmware installed. WPS disabled. Any ideas?

Windows (Vista and XP) only see it as WPA security.
Xirrus WiFi Inspector and inSSIDer both see the Asus router broadcasting WEP and WPA. Airodump-ng (Linux command line tool) only sees WPA. |
