Password Protected?

I don't know what 116 items are password protected and it won't tell me. Never seen this b4.

I have never seen this with BitDefender. Anything that is asking for a password is suspect. A password is not necessary for anti-malware software to scan files.

116 files contained in one or more password protected Zip files?

SARGE 04-26-2013 11:08 PM

I have no password protected files, I don't roll that way and would have to learn how if wanted to. Spooky seeing this all of a sudden the last 2 weekly scans. I would sure like to know what in the heck are the 116 password protected files it can't scan. How can I find out??

I know you use BitDefender. Just started this a few weeks ago. Makes me think there are files on my PC that I didn't put there but something else did. That brings up another scenario...maybe being monitored?? I don't do anything illegal or immoral, but I do get political, but civil on some sites

The log file should show you where the files are.

Wow, thanks for the info. That should fill my Saturday. :)

Thanks to Ezy I was able to find, but the log itself takes some hunting. Looks like they are all Adobe install launcher stuff. I nuked the folder and re-scanned. Thanks.

Just as I though, password-protected self-extracting Zip file. :)
