2 realtek NIC's won't work over switch
Hail All!
I got this weird prob! Imagine 2 identical nic's linked throug a 10/100 Switch. Not working. I use TCP/IP. Adress : 192.168.0.x subnet : 255.255.255.0 DHCP server won't give a IP to the other NW card. If i put a old 3com ISA card in the server, it gives an ip, all is well, yet all is @ 10MBit! Now if I ping the other station i have a simple timeout. If I ping the computer itself, there is a reply. So it seems either one of the NIC's is broken or I looked something over the head! Could i get some help from someone please? |

A P200MMX@166Mhz.
Operating Windows 2000. Yet this cannot be the problem, couse if i give the pc's a static IP the problem remains. |
