some sort of @ (AT) service or task scheduling:
a) either at NT level .. disable Task Scheduler Service and observer
b) Notes: In the Notes Server, there is a Schedule Template about various Notes related process. Check those out

Unhappy

I have a server running NT on which I keep my Lotus Notes Domino software and at weekends the Notes server shuts down at 11pm on Friday and restarts at 5am on Monday.... and I can't find what is controlling it !!

We had some temp guy in who was supporting the Notes installation who may have done something to enable our weekend dump to work - I desparately need to disable whatever program/command line (?) is shutting down the Notes software.

Any ideas where I should look?

(Perhaps I should reverse the question and ask if you wanted to shut down and restart an application from an NT server at prescribed times each week how would you go about it?)

NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 4
Notes Domino 4.6.4a Int'l

As an update I have found a folder with two .cmd files in - with the respective commands

net stop "NOTES DOMINO SERVER"
net start "NOTES DOMINO SERVER"

so I have renamed their folder and will see after the weekend. I still have no idea (if these are the culprits) what program is calling them.
