Hello!
I have a number of old 486's that were on some type of network, that I'm trying to refurbish... Thing is every thing goes fine till I try to execute a progie from floppy. I get a pop-up saying this program canceled because of restrictions in place on this computer. I used Killcmos to remove any passwords and set floppy access to "user",then I reformated and reinstalled windows95 with the bios set for user access to floppy but still got the same thing... ANY help would be greatly apreceated as I REALLY dont want to be stuck with a bunch of 486's I cant use... TIA, Stormson |

Check and make sure that the floppy drives haven't been hooked up using the "B" connectors on the cable. We used to do this in a classroom so the kiddies wouldn't load viruses on the workstations.
