Angry

I have 2 D-Link network cards installed in slots 1 & 2 on Abit BE6 M/B. Sound card is in slot 3. When system boots it passes to the Windows splash screen very quickly and then sits there for about 50sec's. Then I get a Dos screen listing the IRQ's where it sits for ages & ages. (at least a min or two)

OS: win 98
sound card: Sound Blaster Live.

PS. Tried every combination of PCI slots with the same result.

Please Help.

Is the system actually connected to a network?

Thumbs up

Problem fixed. I did'nt have a network connection on the second card. I guess it was looking for a connection all that time.

Thanks for taking an interest.
