Dumb Firewall Question

Ok have a dumb question
Is there a difference between XP's Firewall & ZoneAlarm
I had zone alarm installed on my system But when I built my new system and reformatted I havent installed ZA yet.
Should I just go ahead and install it
Would the only difference be the convience of setting's

I have WinXP-Home
DSL 1500/256

I have ZA installed as an outbound protection with XP and it works great.

Hi Hal

I'm thinking about reinstalling but it was kindof aggravating kept getting pop ups asking if it was ok for certain thing's to access the internet or act as a server damn it started getting a little confusing.
about what to allow and what not
I previously had Black Ice and I never had those problems

The popups go away eventually. You can click on the more info (or whatever it's called) button to see what it is that's accessing the internet and whether or not you should allow it.
