Athlon 900mhz
128mb sd ram XP Pro 40gb Maxtor Can someone help me with a problem I am having with XP firewall. I use netmeeting and i know the other persons IP address, I have used Zone alarm in the past and it was easy to specify the IP address to be allowed acess. Now I need to turn off the XP firewall before using netmeeting or the other person will not be able to see me. I have tried to configure the fire wall inputting IP address of other person to allow them access and then it wants to know what port its on, I have no idea what port it is on or even what a port number I should put. I have tried using a program which detects ports and have tried what would appear to be the correct one for netmeeting but it dosent work. I dont like leaving computer without firewall up, so its annoying me. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. |

Thanks Great_one, After reading the article I will give it a go, seems there should be more than one port enabled and some of the ones listed have been ones I tried on their own. I`ll enable them all to start with and see how I get on from there. I`ll post back to let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
