2 Computers
I have 2 computers that are setup right next to eachother. I dont have internet access on either of them. What I want to do is connect them somehow so that I can do gaming on both of them. I went to Compusa and got Ethernet cards and a 7 ft crossover cable. I hooked them up, but I dont know how to tell if they are working and have tried connecting to a game together and it didnt work. Any suggestions?

You have to make sure that they both have TCP/IP and NetBEUI protocols installed under Network Properties, and that they each have an IP set (198.168.0.1 for one and 198.168.0.2 for the other).

How do you install TCP\IP and NetBEUI? Will Wizard pretty much do it for me?
