Printer Problem
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Printer problem: I have a Win 2k laptop (in the network). I added a local printer and shared it. Works fine. I added this printer to another computer , also on the network but when I go to print it gives me the "Access denied, can't connect." I have tried a number of possible solutions including hardware and software. Permissions include the everyone group. I just added the Authenticated Users group but the user is not here to log in. In case that does not work, any suggestions? Thanks JayG |

Try enabling the "Guest" account on your local machine. If that works, you'll know it's a rights issue.

You have to add an account to the laptop that corresponds to the account you are using on the other computer that is being denied access.
