Hi all, right I will explain htis the best i can,
I have 2 pc'2 running win 98SE, 1 is a p3 600, the other a Athlon 1.7gig they are both connected via a network card, the P3 600 has the internet connection (Broadband) via another network card. They are connected by RJ45 with a crossover cable If i am on any one machine i can sucessfully ping the other machine's ip. but I have run the Internet connection Sharing wizard and created a floppy disk and loaded it on the other machine, with no problems. But when I goto connect to the internet on the other PC I cant connect to the internet, I get the page cannot be displayed error. Has anyone else had this problem, can anyone help, I have done this once before on another a friends pc's with no problems, but this time it wont bloody work and its driving me mad. Please help Regards Mark

This may help you.....
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/ics_98 I also remember that the computer with ICS running on it must be up and running before the other clients on the network. |

Man Craig that is a old picture. KC135 (Boeing 707) and a B58 Hustler medium range bomber. That sucker could haul the mail though. Over 1300 MPH.

mark_c,
I stopped using MS ICS a long time ago. I use AnalogX's Proxy program. It's stone axe reliable and bone simple. If you know the problem is with ICS and isn't your hardware, I highly recommend AnalogX's Proxy. Here's the link. http://www.analogx.com/contents/down...work/proxy.htm |

Hi Chas,
Here is another one!! Love the "Hustler". Think about this....a B-58 flew the route LA to NYC in 1962 . How long did it take them? Answer is: 2 hours and some seconds. They did the return leg in 2 hours, 15 minutes and some seconds!! We don't have a bomber in our inventory that can even come close to matching that feat from over 40 years ago. Checkout this great site and take care http://www.xs4all.nl/~mvburen/b-58/index.htm |
