Cable Modem

I have a hub which has two computers connected to it and a cable modem. The two computers speak to each other and you can view each computers files. Does anyone now how to share a cable modem over the network. The cable modem is from NTL thanx Luke

Is the cable modem USB or Ethernet? If it's Ethernet, replace your hub with a cable/DSL sharing router that has a 4 port switch, the Linksys BEFSR41 is one recommended model. If it's USB, you will have to use Internet Connection Sharing or get a Draytek Vigor 2200 router. You can use 2 NICS and Internet Connection Sharing with an Ethernet modem if you don't want to buy a router.
