How do I add to network?

I have a d-link 3-port router and I would like to add more ports. I was told to add another router to the network for more ports. Is there another way? Thanx, Ray

You don't need the expense of another router. Just get another hub and connect from a standard port on one of them to an uplink port on the other with a straight through patch cable. If neither have an uplink port, connect each at a standard port, but use a crossover patch cable instead.

Add a workgroup switch that has an uplink port. A switch is much better than a hub the hub will attempt to send messages to all the other computers and congest your network; A Switch will not. If you really wanted another router you could just buy an 8 port model and sell the old one.
