can't access my computer, password?

Everytime I get on my other computer and try to access folders I have as shared, it says I need a password. ONly I never set a password! I have no clue on how to take the password off, I tried my windows password and that's not it. I'm baffled.

Also, does anyone know how to setup a network where you login to the network like offices and schools have?

Have you tried the password reset wizard? I would try that first go to start>settings>control panel> user accounts and click on your user name in the left had window choose "Prevent a forgotten password" I don't know if this helps but at least give it a try if you haven't done so allready.

Also just above that task there is one that says "Manage my Network Password. Good luck

When you login at places like those, you're logging into a central server. So you'd need a machine that is running some server version of an OS (to allow Domain). Then on all your client machines, just set them to connect to that server when they log in. I can give you more info about it if you're trying to do something specific.
