wireless setup

WOuld this setup work...

Modem feed goes into wireless router, then the router transmits to an access point. the access point plugs into a hub which distributes the connection to two PC's. Does that work? Or would a router be needed instead of a hub?

Linksys has a nice mapped layout of a simple wireless network.

Note that a consumer grade wireless access point can be an access point or a bridge, not both at the same time. Exactly what are you wanting to do?

Actually, this isn't for me. I'm just doing a favor for a neighbor. However, I realized that this solution was 2nd rate compared to another one I found. I just didn't put much thought into it before I posted that post.
