Internet dial up sharing
I have two computers with win98se that I would like to connect for home service. I have in one of the computers a zoom 56k v.90 pci modem model 2925L.
Is a wireless connection the easiest method and can I share the dial up connection? |

well yes because you dont have to run any wires,
yes you can share the connction, with either crossover cable and 2 nics but the modem machine would have to be on get a router and external modem and only the computer you are on has to be on, or you could go wireless and i think eith that unless you use a external modem the main computer has to be on,?? |

Depends on how much trouble it would be to run a cable between the two machines. I would always choose wired over wireless if conveinent. I like my wireless notebooks but if I'm going to transfer large files i plug them in.
But if alll you want to share is an internet connection either one will be faster than your connection. |
