computer access over the net
ok this may date me a little.
back in the days before the internet we used to use computer BBS. I had software loaded on my families computers that would run a small BBS that I could call then jump to DOS and fix file problems they may have. So now what I am wondering is if anybody knows of any programs that will let me have the same access over the net. What I am looking for is my mothers computer. She really has a hard time with computers and saves files and can't find them and so forth. So if I could just logon to her system over the net I could do some general stuff. Any body got ideas? If both computers are using Windows XP Pro (Home? Not to sure on that, someone else with better knowledge can answer that) you can use the PC remote feature to control her computer. PCAnywhere is a nice third party software that will also do the trick, I am sure there are other software programs will do the same thing. I almost sure this will do the trick for you.

A machine old enough that it has 95 may be too weak to run ME well - keep that in mind.
