bandwith stealer....

i have a basic home network setup, just 2 computers running thru a linksys dsl router... basically the 2nd computer is getting all the bandwith, and the 1st computer's bandwith is much slower , which results in my roommate unplugging my computer so his bandwith isnt so crappy... i was looking for ANY solution to this, whether its through some software program or perhaps changing some settings...

thanks

Try the tweaking tools at some of the broadband sites like dslreports.com - the older the OS, the less optimized it is for broadband.
