unknown NIC
hi all
an old pc i own still had a 10 based NIC, a buddy of mine had a 100 based lying arud i could have, unfortunatly he den not have the driver cd or floppy disk . on the print is says practical comunications so i assume this is the brand, only i can find no support online for this brand of hardware, even on driverguide they never heard of it. i'll place a pic of the card online asap but does annyone have anny idea how i might solve this problem???? thanks |

Why not stick it in the PC and see what Windows does with it? Who knows, if you have a later version of Windows it may already have the drivers. It's worth a try.

Does it have a model # on it? If so, search Google with it and see what you get. I've been able to identify alot of hardware that way. Carl |

You might be able to indentify it by it's FCC#
