Router and performance

Hi, I just purchased a Belkin router from Tigerdirect (on its way now). I just wanted to know how much I can expect my internet to slow down. The setup is basically going to be one line going to the family computer and the other going to my brother's PS2 to play online games with another line added later for another computer. If both (computer and PS2) are running at the same time, will there be a large hit in bandwith? I have cable internet through Charter 768 down/120 up. Thanks a lot!

Cool

The only time you might notice a slowdown is if one of the PC's is doing a large download. I have 2 networked now thru a router and cain't tell the difference from when I had a single PC. I also have a cable modem.
