Setting Up Network Using Windows XP Home
Ok... there is a guy I know who wants me to setup 4 computers on a LAN. They all have Windows XP Home Edition running on them. Is there anything I should know ahead of time to avoid headaches?
I know there are some differences in administration features between Home and Pro (I think anyhow) can someone clue me in to what those are? |

The biggest difference between Home and PRO is that with PRO you can join a domain, however Home works just fine with workgroups. Networking XP is a snap, you should have no problems.

Run the networking wizard, create the disk, then run it on the other 3 machines. It's that easy.
